Celeb news! Sienna Miller pregnant?

OMG is Sienna Miller pregnant?

The stunning 30 year old actress is supposedly expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Sturridge.

A source told US Weekly that Sienna is expecting and that the couple "are really good together".

Although Sienna has been Jude Law's on-off partner for the past few years, she and 25 year old Tom (and best mate to Rob Pattinson!) have been dating for a while now.

If the rumours are true of a mini-Miller, just think of how gorgeous those babies will be!

Celeb Big Brother

Woooo Celebrity Big Brother is back tonight!

After last time and the hilarious Jedward and co. bringing back the ace-ness of Big Brother onto our screens at its new home of Channel 5, I am honestly so excited to watch who enters the house!

I’m guessing Frankie Cocozza will be entering after mentioned on everyone's list of contestants, and I hope he goes in and shows the real Frankie and not the person he was on X Factor (they must have paid him to act up surely?)

If Kirk Norcross enters I think I may become a crazy celeb stalker and go to watch the evictions! I love him, he’s so much more normal than Mark Wright (even though he is HOT) and it must be hard when his dad is a semi-dilf. Ha!

I can’t write anymore because I’m literally so excited! I really hope it’s an amazing line-up!

Made in Chelsea boots?

Does anyone out there own the uber-gorge Topshop Allegra boots or similar chelsea boots?

I always thought Chelsea boots looked a bit masculine, but the Topshop beauties with a cute chunky heel are my ultimate perfect daytime boot!

I’ve kept my eye out on Ebay for months but no luck, and couldn’t justify £39.99 on StylistPick’s mega-heeled Violet boots that I would never be able to walk down the high street at midday in, and then I clicked onto Missguided the other day and saw their Odetta boots – errr hello shoe envy!

Their version is pretty close to the level of perfection found with the Topshop Allegras, and the leopard ponyskin looks adorable! Ok so maybe leopard print isn’t too ‘practical’ (as my mother would say) with my multi-coloured print wardrobe, but they would look oh-so-perfect on my feet.

The only thing that puts me off is the ponyskin effect. It’s always freaked me out for some reason, I think it’s because it really does make your feet look like you’re wearing two dead squirrels - and then I saw the plain black beauts.

Now I hate black leather shoes. I don’t know why but I’ve always just felt they resembled Clarks school shoes, so I always opt for black suede. I prefer the suede texture with tights, and feel like they don’t stand out too much against trousers and denim.

If anyone has the Topshop Allegras (I’m mega jealous of you!) or any of the versions of them like the ones on MissGuided or Chockers, please let me know I’m just undecided whether to treat myself.

I’ve just booked to go to Benicassim festival with a bit of sightseeing in Valencia and Barcelona, and I’m hoping to go travelling to Thailand in the Autumn so pennies need to be saved, but I honestly think I NEED these shoes in my life.

I recently bought some heeled black suede Victoriana-style lace up ankle boots from New Look that are in many ways the exact same shape and heel type as the Allegras so I’m unsure.

Will I need to wear boots for much longer? Will they last until 2012 A/W?

Where it all comes from....

I’m guessing you’re thinking ‘why has she posted a pic of a bed?'

Well it’s my bed at home, you know home-home, like parents home. But it’s the first time I had felt brave enough to put my uni bed sheets onto my home bed with the cushions that I had bought at uni.

Ok so it’s been 6 months since I moved away after finishing uni but it still feels slightly wrong to be back here in Kent instead of Worcester.

And I cried when I saw the bedsheets that I had snuggled up in every night at university, placed on the bed I have at home. It made it feel real that the best three years of my life had come to an end. Mega sad face.

Honestly, if you’re reading this and thinking of going to university, DO IT.

You’ll meet people that you wouldn’t usually surround yourself with, you will experience so many different experiences and it’s just such amazing fun. I would do anything to re-live every day over and over again like Groundhog Day!

But now I'm looking towards the future and my career. I've always loved magazines, from the celeb gossip to all the new fashion items to the simple glossyness of the pages. Everything about magazines I love, and I love writing and reviewing, so it seems perfect that I want my career to head in that direction.

I wish I knew that 3 years ago so I could have done a degree in Journalism but oh well! I had an interview at MSN and the lady asked me why I hadn't done journalism if I was so passionate about it, and I simply answered that teachers had always told me my writing wasn't my strongest point. So I always thought I couldn't do it.

I've been at Closer Magazine three times now and I hope to go back whenever they need an extra pair of hands. But for now, this blog will be my own little magazine. Full of what I'd want to read. Celeb news, fashion, beauty products, you name it, I'll write it!

I hope you enjoy reading this as much I enjoy writing it.

So this is my bed, with my beautiful new red Jan Constantine cushion that I had as a Christmas present from my ex-boyfriend, and this is where most of these blogs will be coming from :)

Product Review- Une Skin-Glow Foundation

On a cold morning in Covent Garden when back at the Closeronline.co.uk desk last month, a very bored looking girl thrust about ten samples of Une Skin-Glow foundations into my hand before I got literally pushed out of the station.

Being late I just threw them into my bag and I have only just come across them again. My skin has been temperamental recently and I resemble a 14 year old kid with multiple breakouts over my forehead and on my temples, and I thought I’d try something different to my usual make-up routine.

On the back, the sample says that 98.2% of the total ingredients are from natural origin, with 17.1% of the total ingredients coming from Organic farming. I like the sound of this – a lot.

I tried this without priming beforehand for a truer feeling of how it sits on the skin, and I hastily opened the little sachet in shade G08 onto my face.

Quite liquidy in formula, this little moisturising beauty smoothed straight onto my face and wasn’t as orange as make-up samples usually are – hurrah!

The texture was odd at first and felt like I had smeared PVA glue on my face as it felt a bit tight and sticky, but after a few minutes it honestly felt as light as a feather. It has a nice dewy look so I skipped powder and even though the consistency was quite thin and runny it covered most of my imperfections.

The smell reminds me of Playdoh (yum!) and although I had never heard of the brand before, I am very tempted to treat myself to a big bottle of it when I get a bit more money in the bank! It feels natural and looks it too, and with only a miniscule 1.8% of the ingredients not coming from natural origin, this seems like a fantastic product to use daily.

Mark: 7/10

I actually love love love how so much of it is natural. The only downside was the sticky feeling it gave you straight after applying. Maybe not good to use if in a rush, but if you have the time then it really does give a great daytime look. Also, it might be a bit too light for night-time wear as I personally prefer a heavier foundation as I have constant breakouts that need covering, but that’s just my own opinion.

P.s Sorry there's no photo of it on my face, they all looked awful with my terrible skin, will add a picture again when I look more 'normal'!

Celeb news! Peaches Geldof is pregnant!

The super skinny daughter of legend Bob Geldof has announced today that she is pregnant!

The 22 year old recently became engaged to rocker Thomas Cohen and has started 2012 with news of their first baby together!

Her spokesperson said today: “Peaches Geldof and her fiancĂ© Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce that Peaches is pregnant with their first child.”

“Peaches is utterly thrilled and they have the full support of both of their families who are equally excited for the babys arrival.”

Previously married to Max Drummey, Peaches looked completely smitten with her new fiance last month at the premiere of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo as she flashed her gorgeous engagement ring.

The socialite has faced recent speculations over her ever-shrinking skinny frame, and spoke out to defend claims that she was using drugs: “To those telling me I look skinny and to eat something, I can assure you I've just cut out eating crap.”

“I still eat like a horse, guys! Obviously I’m going to look thinner if I don’t sit around eating pizza and chips. It’s just how the body works. You are a product of what you eat.”

We can expect that skinny frame to fill out pretty soon with mini-Geldof, aww congrats guys!

St Tropez bronzer compact

At first glance of this dark orange-brown bronzer I felt nervous at how dark it looked, and placed next to my usual Rimmel rose coloured fail-safe it looked even darker.

Packaged in a gorgeous black compact with mirror and with St Tropez proudly emblazoned on the front, I was reassured that this had to be the perfect way to pep up my face when quite frankly this winter weather was making me drained.

With just one sweep of the dark matte bronzer my face looked instantly brightened. And a little certainly goes a long way... my first go of swiping the brush over it a few times left me looking more fancy dress than lusciously tanned!

With a light application it can give a barely there tan, or build it up for a browner and more tanned look for a night out.

Compared to lower priced bronzers that I usually pick up (anything over £7 usually gets dismissed in case it looks awful on my pale skin- must change this silly rule!) this stood out for its staying power.

While others need to be carried with you and topped up throughout the day, the St Tropez bronzer didn’t budge at all. Even after 12 hours the colour was still there and as fresh as when I had first applied it.

St Tropez you simply hit the nail on the head again. Total staying power and this will be a regular purchase. Perfecto!
